Mint Agency founder Lisa Morey has a truly unique blend of experience and skills that have enabled her to become the force behind her virtual assisting business. With over 27 years in the workforce, a mother, and wife of a small business owner, Lis knows every trick and hack there is for helping things run more smoothly. 

Over the course of her professional life, Lisa has worked in a variety of administrative and accounting-based roles across industries including retail, hospitality, real estate and digital marketing. Many of these roles have included project management and/or managerial positions. Lisa’s combined experience has given her insight into the pressures of running a business, in addition to understanding the benefits that excellent customer service and well-organised systems can bring to small to medium-sized businesses.

In 2019, Lisa helped her husband successfully make the transition from working his day job to running his own lucrative small business. As her husband’s Chief Operations Officer, she soon realised that her own background and experience had primed her for this, not everyone trying to run a business could say the same.

Lisa found she was often approached for her advice – both formally and informally – by other small business owners, or by those who may be looking to start one. People needed experienced advice from someone with the know-how across a variety of operational business matters: streamlining systems, productivity, accounting, staying organised, software, recruiting.

Lisa realised that lessons don’t always need to be learned the hard way – costing time, money, experience or other precious resources. What was needed was virtual assisting, and Mint Agency was born. (Still not sure what Virtual Assisting is?)
